Craig lives five miles from his office. To save on fuel costs, and reduce wear and tear on his car, he's been looking for a new job he can telecommute to. One of Craig's friends mentioned that there was another company in town, in a similar industry, that routinely allowed employees to work from home. After a successful interview, Craig received a job offer at the same salary he's currently earning. However, the new company's offices are fifteen miles from his home, and he'd only be allowed to telecommute three days a week. Since his current weekly commute is fifty miles, two round-trips to the new office every week would actually increase the amount of driving he does. Craig discussed the offer with some of his close friends and family, but was doubtful it was a prospect he would pursue.
